Great post! I have developed and actively maintain a Chrome extension that shows post and comment values in Fiat over numerous sites, including Steemit, Busy.io, d.tube, and dmania.lol. This is how I see Steemit:
We currently support nearly 20 different Fiat currencies, and are adding more each release!
The payout system makes sense - but only if SBD is hovering around $1! Otherwise it's crazy inaccurate.
