RE: Just A Reminder: @tipU Pays Out 100% To Steem Power Delegators, 0% Fees

Do you have any mechanisms in place to avoid abuse of tipu votes? Any whitelists or blacklists you use to ensure people aren't just voting up spam, worthless content, or plagiarism? Thanks!

First, to prevent spamming and abusing steem reward pool I've implemented the same rules as many other voting bots. The max post age when upvoting is 2.5 days and if the post is flagged by @steamcleaners or @blacklist-a, @tipU won't upvote the post (the upvote will be automatically refunded).

Also one user can get max 3 upvotes per day. Im also thinking about doing my own blacklist of users that create pointless posts (music video of some random artist without any commentary etc.)

I really like the whitelist approach smartsteem has taken but I’m glad to know you’re leveraging existing quality control systems out there. A blacklist would be a good idea, IMO. If Poole disagree, they can use other service providers.
