If you have given @asshole money recently, like @kristy1, I'd like to know why.

@asshole is a problem, and is flagging every post EXCEPT a few, and I think that he is working on behalf of other users.

Is he extorting money from you so that you don't get flagged by him, or are you working with him at the detriment to all steemit users? I want answers.

As you can see from @asshole, he received some STEEM from @Kristy1, in the last day. Notice her page, has no flags from him. Anyone know more? What happens when hundreds of @assholes all flag the same posts?

He has no voting power.

Psychopaths love attention. Ignore him.

He makes my posts go invisible by his flags -- he has 1,100 Steem Power so why wouldn't he have any effects?

he votes so much every day that his voting power is so low and because i has no SP (1k is like $100) its just not doing anything.

That said giving him money is obviously bad.

I see your posts. Just upvote yourself when you see him doing it and it might counteract his effect.

knircky is correct. Plus, the more you comment about him/her, the more s/he gets a thrill.

He just down-voted one of my comments and made it invisible. As far as I can tell, and I just looked AH up and they have 75% voting power. Is there a way a bunch of us can get together and down vote them into Oblivion?

When I looked at Crowdfunded Whale and then looked at the accounts of the people who had signed up they didn't seem to be making much Steem. I could be missing something and I would like to learn more about it. I was talking to someone about it this morning and they were saying that if it works to get even one of your posts to trend it's a pretty cheep price. I will look into it some more. Do you use it?

It's not my initiative, but it could be a fun project so I gave a little free publicity. Nevertheless, the bot won't be able to hide messages in the future. Dan said they're working on separating the flag from the regular downvote. Also Busy.org doesn't hide anything that gets downvoted.

Sweet, thank you for the info. The bot was downvoting everyone and everything I put up. It was annoying so I was counteracting it by upvoting my own comments. Doh. Thanks for the link to Busy.org. I signed up for the beta as I am a gluten for punishment and like software testing / bug finding new software. I just put up a new post in bitcoin if you want to check it out. I also figured out I can ping people on here with out publicly posting there name by putting a hyperlink around a period and making there @name the URL.

Ah good info there about the name url... Yes I saw your new post. Saved a bookmark in Busy.

Yeah I'm mostly using Busy.org nowadays. Even just the feed is a whole lot easier on the eyes. Open beta starts really soon, but just incase the team is stressed about bugs I won't mention the exact date here and increase pressure for no reason.

Hey btw what happened to the crowdfunded whale? Maybe goodguygreg and you should have some dialogue.

It won't let me reply inline for some reason. Actually GGG and I had a talk about the CFW and we decided it was a great get rich quick scheme.
For the whale.

It's the so called "nesting limit" that needs changing. It works better on Busy, but then it doesn't get properly stored on the blockchain so far.

Crowdfunded whale is for the owners/contributors to the whale I hope? It's not that you're suggesting it's something else?

Yeah, I have seen @asshole today when I was try to put up a post.

It is part of my religion! If someone is mean to you your suppose to turn the other cheek. That's what my beloved Jesus says. He doenvoted my replies to my post. So I went back voted them up then sent them turned my other cheek to him and showed him kindness in return to his meanness. It's not to downgrade steem it's just me following the preachings of my God. If you read the memo I sent it said have a beautiful day. That goes for all steem users, all people.

Religious ideas migth not work all that well in this case, especially if it's a nonconscious bot that you're talking to.

The only thing you're doing is rewarding someone for trying to bully other people and in the process making yourself look more suspect.

It doesn't really matter though, both Dan of Steemit and the Busy.org team are working on solving these issues.

It might not help anyone or solve the problem but still feel it's important in ever situation to try my best to follow advice from my creator. Bots creator might not change bots behavior, I can only control my actions in the situation. And felt I needed to be kind to asshole in that moment. Does it change anything for at asshole idk, and all I can do is hope the change of one does happen is for the better.

It's your call of course. Just don't hurt yourself in the process, please.

Be well
/Thomas

Thank you. Not my intention to get hurt. Showing one person kindness shouldn't upset a non involved third party. If it does then they need to reevaluate why they were so quick to anger at the situation and saw it as a threat to themselves. Kindness isn't a scarce good unless we as humans make them supply of it low intentionally. The quality of it never goes down, the demand is high, and the supply could be endless. It's worth is always valuable. I give kindness freely because it's what my religion teaches, I will stand behind it regardless if it sometimes negatively affects my situation.

Apart from not being theistic, I agree with much of what you said.

Welcome. I am glad you asked the question everyone else was wanting to ask. Enjoy your day!

well if you give asshole money u are really stupid, because his flag is worth nothing.

So just enjoy his worthless flags.....

The flags make my posts invisible until or unless someone votes it out of invisibility lol
