I suspect you're referring to what Goog does with its "circles" right? If so, I agree. This would give you the ability to tailor your re-streems to specific groups &/or individuals you believe would want to see that content. Know any Steemit developers who might take this and run with it?
Yep pretty much what Goog does with circles, although from memory if you post something to a circle it will post it "privately" so only those people in the circle can see it whereas with this thing as far as I can tell everything is public all the way and the request seems to be to just notify certain people rather than make sure only certain people can see it (unless I'm mistaken).
I don't know if I know any steemit devs specifically, haven't been here that long in the grand scheme XD
If this could be made to work it might be more flexible than the socnets that use lists/circles for specialised resharing :)

Me neither. Perhaps we need a "topic" for #development or #steemitenhancements? Yours would be a great idea for the community!
