About us?

Some may be arriving new to the steemit community and have not been able to know who we are and who is behind the Little Disciples Foundation.

We are a non-profit organization created by a couple of young Venezuelans specifically from Puerto Ordaz Edo. Bolívar my name is Daniel my steemit user @lopzdaniel who writes to you this time, graphic designer, illustrator, and vocation teacher and @biankalopz who is in charge of the daily writing of the @littledisciples advertisements, she is a civil engineer and vocation teacher as well.

We began this work in 2015 in the media and the strong economic crisis that invaded Venezuela with great force that year, in the midst of a great conflict and in the midst of great decisions and exodus of friends and family, we decided to stay and do something from here for our people, invest our little money, ideas, gifts and talents to train the new generations of this nation.

Here we have lived good and bad times, when we started, it was with the idea of ​​educating, of teaching how to read to write, of developing gifts and talents of children in dance, arts, sports in young people and children from poor communities resources, we want to bring social transformation to those communities most affected in our city and with approximately 4 to 6 non-permanent volunteers, we began this work, opening our first school of values ​​in the community of Villa Celestial. This sector is a somewhat desolate sector, without streets, with incomplete public services and far from the city.

With this intention, we began this work hoping to help in the educational area, then we extended our support to other levels such as spiritual, emotional, nutritional, with the desire to help and give comprehensive and complete support to all children.

This is our first photo in the first school of securities in a house in Villa Jade.

So we were advancing and growing, we understood our work to other communities in the city in need of these sectors, such as Vista al Sol in San Felix, also Unare 2, Villa Celestial, in the sector Amazonas, arriving to work every day of the week, resting only on Sundays, so we also arrived later for 2017 to Cambalache, which is the sector in which we are currently, an indigenous sector with many shortcomings of which I will be commenting shortly.

What charitable projects develop today?

Today we develop the following charitable projects:

1. Awards to a child:

The sponsorship of children is a program of the foundation through which you or anyone would become a godfather in the sense of interest in education and the child's development, the child would be chosen by you of all that we would present within the program, would know their age, place, conditions, parents, families and their social situation, in order to provide not only a monetary help to support their education, but also that the one who can spano can have a record and monitoring of the advancement and development of the children. We have children who have a lot of talent in the song, and they do have much talent in singing, dances and others, but do not have the economic resources to enter the academies. In the following pages you can observe a catalog where you can know them the best who will want to sponsor. The sponsorship time is minimal of one year and you will respond in the wayle that you must fill, as you want to do it if full or partial.

Who support this project?

Currently, anonymous volunteers (when we say Annoyful volunteers we refer to people who do not want mention them in anywhere) from Chile, the United States and Venezuela finance the sponsorship of some children with $ 20 per month, as well as two years old with $ 40 per month. With this support they have been able to build hammocks for children of an indigenous family.

2.Graduation Kids:

In the month of the child's day we perform a special activity to reward those children and young people who met all of their classes, finished their school year with good notes in the school, they have discipline and responsibility. They make a graduation of level of mini leadership, small leaders, leaders and construction according to their age. We take them to a special place. All the predictimeniión of their surveys with the dance, theater and choreography.

Who support this project?

Steemit, during now and almost about 3 years have been donating Steem for this activity, made every end of the school year. As well as anonymous volunteers, and some companies with supplies such as soft drinks or some food, like others and others.

Expenses:

Because it is carried out once a year, it requires dressers, gifts or donations for the children, and transportation to and from the communities.

3. Schools of values:

They are made in the communities to educate and teach children Citizens secrets as well as promoting the development of their gifts and talents. I write writing, due to literacy in the indigenous warao community we are teaching children, adults and adults to read and write but not through memorization but through reasoning.

4. Small gestures of love:

For this year we have achieved:
• 50 children have been unfairly in the indigenous community of Cambalache.
• 50 food bags have been delivered in the sector of Cambalache and in the sector of view of the sun.

• 6 Babies of different communities in the malnutrition state have have recovered their weight.

5. Return to schools:

Return to classes since 2016 until 2019 have been served 160 children and young people have been able to start classes without setbacks, by delivering them uniform, school supplies and shoes.

6. New Year with Jesus:

It should be noted that our budget for this currently has not been fully covered due to the quarantine that has made it difficult to develop these projects in the same way as in previous years, for which we request the support of everyone who wants to help our Venezuelan children, as soon as education, food, sponsorship and the aforementioned projects.
