Thoughts On Reaching 1,000 Steem Power

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

This blog has come a long way from 10 months ago. If you ever wanted/needed an example of how not to post; my old postings were surely those examples. I am still trying to improve every day.

I am honestly glad for the bad posting days. It's taught me how not to post but I can also see the improvement in my posts. Not only can I see the improvements in my posts, but i can see the improvements in my personal life.

My Steemit Journey has been one of self-discovery, battling internal demons, and trying to figure out where my future is heading. I can truthfully say I have become a better person for society and the community through this experience.

What a journey from these days:

To finally achieving this:

I have the same goal man and more now after the HD19

Keep that goal fresh in your mind and work hard towards it every day and you will accomplish it. We have a saying around my home "If it's easy, it's probably not worth it". It's wonderful to see the positive vibes after the most recent fork. I look forward to seeing your 1,000 SP Post.

Thanks friend i like your words :)

wow

You can get there too @timetowakeup! If anything, use this post as motivation to know you can accomplish the same task.

Seems so far away. Have about 1 Steem Power at the moment and no clue of what I should be posting.

But congrats to you :)

First, Thanks for the congratulations. Most Importantly, I would like to give you some advice to help you on your way. Here is a post called Tips and Tricks To Grow Your Steemit Channel. In my opinion it contains useful information to help you along your journey. The most important thing you can do is get engaged with the community. Absolutely leave comments like you did here. Reply to comments people leave on your posts. Also, https://steemit.chat/ is a great place to get to know other community members.

Whatever you do don't get discouraged. This journey is as much about self-discovery as it is writing; I have come to learn. Just keep at it, don't give up, and I will one day see your 1,000 Steem Power Milestone Post.

@lexikon082, good for you. My first two months were painful, but extremely fun. I have what SP I have with a serious commitment and a true addiction for the platform. I wish you all the success and Steem On!

First, thanks for the success wishes. We joined in the same month, but I took two 3 month breaks due to my alcoholism issues. I've thought about where I would be if I had not have done that. However, upon much reflection, I am glad that I didn't because I would not be as humbled as I am now. Nor would I would be as caring of the community. Thanks for the reply as it gives me the motivation to strive for creating valuable content knowing what could be possible by putting in 6 more months of posts that are valuable to the community.

Woohoo! Really happy for you! And soon, your wife will be able to join you there :)

I look forward to seeing both of you there. With your writing and pictures @foodie.warrior, I think you may already be one of the most undervalued assets on this platform. I am impressed with every one of your posts. I already look at your posts as a source to see how I can improve on mine. Keep it up and you are going to the MOON!

I'm struck with the extent to which you spread your kindness, humility, generosity, and sincerity around, and I can see the love of God shining through your actions. It cannot be that every day in the path of sobriety is an easy, bubbly, shining one (i know that somehow, though I've not been exactly in your shoes, but we've all struggled greatly and face difficulties in our lives too). But you manage to keep your chin up, your eyes high, and a solid testimony flag flying. Thank you for that and your timely sweet words.

They came at a moment when I was having doubts about whether my content is actually worthwhile, since the 'eye' icon on the bottom right which shows how many people actually read have been increasingly getting lower compared to my first few posts. But thanks to your vote of confidence I will just carry on doing what I love the most. Also flattered that you use my posts as a source of improvement. I'm also new to this blogging thing, and it's always nice to hear that you're doing some things right.

Congratulation..my dear friend...its a great inspiration for the newbie like me...you doing great job here in steemit community...appreciated your effort...

Thank you so much once again my dear friend:))

Your words are always an encouragement to me. I am still taken aback that I can be a source of inspiration for others, but if i can be that source I will continue to try to be a good example. Thanks for your kind words.

Ya..when I read your post..I always found you as role model in this community...got always inspiration to do some thing nice for the community.
