Devcoin is blockchain and it sits at 29 satoshis per coin. Where is Steem in use apart from Steemit? I am not trying to spread FUD. I have $200 in Steem power and it allows me to vote money to others. That's pretty neat. There is the incentive to buy Steem.
I searched and found good blog on this , it is nearly one year old but I believe things are better now and steem is more popular now . A simple google search will give more details.
