RE: YAY ANARCHY TAG - 12 out of 15 Trending Posts @adamkokesh! PEOPLE MUST LOVE FREEDOM!
Hey, I've got no gripe with self upvotes etc. and using Steemit as you can.
I might be mistaken, but I think Kafka may have the same mentality as me, one should 'practice what they preach'. Steemit is really a mirror into the kind of person you are. If you are community minded, you give back and take only what you need. If you are out for purely selfish gains, you upvote just yourself and run with the money with no regard for other contributers. Of course there is everything in between.
Now I have not seen how many upvotes he gives to his commenters or others on the platform and so don't know if this is purely down to selfish reasons alone, but I do find it disappointing that one who speaks about giving to all and building a community seems to be doing the opposite. We don't need more of the same trying to get into office.
As a "greedy Anarcho-Capitalist," nor do I. None at all. As I've said to others, just stating my market preference. Kokesh doesn't seem to me to really give a damn about the platform at all beyond how it can help him politically.
I want zero platform level regulation. Just calling things as I see them to alert other users.
Thanks for the clarification! At first I thought: Wait a minute. Didn't he say upvoting your own posts was alright? Then I saw your comment :)
As libertarians it can always be frustrating when people interpret your opinion has something you want to impose on others. That's not how it works! It's just advice, not an order.
Right. Kokesh is also using delegated SP to do this, and one of his delegators has expressed some displeasure regarding the recent upvoting sprees.
I am also interested to know what happened to all the donations that the Kokesh camp received to ostensibly get him out of jail. Thousands of dollars were raised via this fundraiser (among others, if I am not mistaken):
https://kokesh.revv.co/wise
But in the end he didn't even pay bail:
Big-hearted Steemians donated lots of cash for this express purpose. @thejohalfiles sent 6,000 Gs for posting bail. What happened to this money and all the rest that has been raised? All we got was this weird video from Adam's personal assistant which leaves more questions than answers:
In the video he says that the money donated to the LP wasn't from the bail donations, but also that the bail wasn't paid and that the money was donated to the LP. A real head scratcher there.
The Kokesh camp has a bit of a history of being surrounded by controversy and criticism regarding financial dealings. Combine that with him self-upvoting comments calling people cowards at 100 dollars, other flame-thready, snark comments of his own at 20 dollars, and it starts to smell like maybe, just maybe, there's a rat in the house.
Wanna see more folks asking these questions. Did he ever tell these folks where their donations went?
For me the sad part is that I was talking to a steemian in Venezuela who does charity down there of feeding people with STEEM donations about setting up a computer in the school he donates food to so that the community could learn steemit.com and feed themselves and he felt like $25 SBD was such a great sum he was reticent to even throw it out there. I am thinking about doing my own fundraiser if he does not.
Really? Who’s the dude?
actually his name is @bigdude!
We discussed it here, we need $25 SBD for the computer and then 10 a month for service
Oh wow, yeah I would be well pissed if I donated for the bail. I didn't even know he ended up not having to pay it :o
