Yes I was thinking that. I have changed it to a dark grey know. Have a look and see what you think. I have also updated the screenshot but it shows better on the actual site.

Better. But I have an even better suggestion you can try out. Invert the regular link color with the hover color. Make the link the dark color, that is darker than the regular text, and then when you hover over it, you can get the less visible lighter text and it doesn't matter so much. This way the links stand out from the regular text, but as darker, instead of lighter. What do you think? Try it out.

I will need to delve deeper into the settings. The weird thing about the settings on Squarespace theme are that you can't necessarily modify them beyond certain parameters. I actually have the link colour set to black now but it is still showing as a grey colour - not sure how to override it but there are a lot of settings.

Good idea. I send this link directly to people to help them out when they need it and I see them -- I am so glad it has a separate URL - I was so stoked when I saw this come up awhile ago..... the first article on FAQ/help by @thecryptofiend is still a staple for #Steemit101 stuff!
