Steemit | How it Helped Me Grow

Why are you using Steemit?
I have always loved to write, but have never had the opportunity to write about something I enjoyed. Back in middle school, I had written about 30 pages of a book I wanted to create, however, I stopped not long after because of the insane amount of time it required and other things. Since then, I have not written to often as most English classes or life skills don't require you to write about what you enjoy, but instead what they tell you to write about.
I use Steemit because I am able to write about interesting topics I enjoy learning about while earning a passive income, essentially paying me for the research and amount of writing I do. Steemit allows me to reach many new people and show them something I enjoy. Steemit has given me a platform where I can make interesting blog posts for people that enjoy similar things as I do, such as ICOs, unlike most other blogging sites that require an initial investment and might take a while to kick off.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me begin to grow, including @dan90 who created similar content about ICOs for much, much longer then I have. I would also like to thank @hr1 and @pharesim for constantly upvoting many, many minnows in the community, and to people like the creators @minnowsupport and @arunava for providing many great opportunities for quality posters to receive something for their posts. Without these services and people, I would not have been able to find the motivation to create content like I do now.
