Did you know that #kin-shep is the tag to post under if you are looking for help on a project, an extra hand around the house, collaboration in creating events or workshops, and even when searching for goods or services?
In its most basic format, #kin-shep is a tag created to search for requests, working within steemit.com, without requiring outside websites or extra passwords.
Think of it as a friendly steemit based ‘classifieds’ bulletin board.
All you have to do is write up a post following these basic guidelines:

Once published, your post will be entered into our support system, upvoted and resteemed. Once we have enough posts rolling in, there will be a regular curation article published featuring some outstanding #kin-shep posts from the community.

Your #kin-shep ad can request help for your home, your business, non-profit organizations, even for disaster relief! It can also work to connect you with online help, designers, crafters, writers, editors, tutors, pen pals, and quality organizers.
By sharing ideas for events, workshops, workshares and couchsurfing locations, Steemit Hospitality Engagement Platform and its two wings, @kin-shep and @shep-heard, provide immediate support and personal connection for our fellow steemians.
This platform allows steemians to help each other in person or online, simply connecting users with the help they are searching for.
I’m often amazed when checking steemitworldmap at how many steemians are posting from around the world, and how many are so close to each other! We can use this vast network to receive help and gain experience in our everyday lives by working as a community for the community.
