I'll advise too you expand your network of Steemians. Join chat groups that have whales, engage with them. Once you have that relationship they will give you a shot and read you. Say they resteem you, that exposes you to a larger audience. My posts now get reasonable audience who look up to the next one, thanks to a group like that.
