Steemit.com is down, but that doesn't mean STEEM is...

That's the beauty of the STEEM blockchain, it is the backbone of the ecosystem and it doesn't go down, ever.

Everything else is built on top of it and is its own separate entity or application.

Which means...

These applications can go down, but STEEM is still up and running.

Right now is a perfect example with steemit.com down but here I am posting from upvu.org.

So, for those of you that can see this and steemit.com is ever down again, try upvu.org

      I guess it's an unintentional stress test for the other front-ends. Seems like upvu.org is struggling to handle the load. It works, but it's not zippy....

      Edit: SteemitDev is working, too, and it's a bit faster than upvu.org.
