Feeling of lack of Community Involvement From Steemit Inc Marketing
We have been writing and publishing here on Steemit @exploretraveler since last year September timeframe and a little earlier on my original test account. Creating new content with high quality photo's take time, planning and effort along with the writing.
There have been issues along the way, and we have tried to mitigate them them as much as possible. Trying to create high quality content takes a toll on us as a small team, and there are costs involved as well. Recently I have seen some discouraging actions from developers, and founders that have made us wonder if this platform will begin to start moving in the direction it needs to become successful for everyone involved.
During the last video from the new marketing department I saw a strong focus the developers, and that was s good start. However I seemed to have got the impression that others who try to post good content, and offer Steemit a certain amount of exclusivity have been left out of the new marketing focus. I hope that with the new liaison this can be rectified, and a feeling of community involvement restored.
The negative consequences have been noticed by us, and we would like to see an improvement with community relationships being improved. We have seen whales go around flagging posts, and considering it a scientific experiment. The rolling out of hardforks that only a few active bloggers here would understand.
Also keep in mind that without people using the site and wanting to generate good content there is no reason to have any development team at all.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
Steem On Everyone!

We would spend even more time is the funds where there to support it. Most people have no idea the costs involved and developers take it for granted since it's normally not their thing. I this I'm also a developer and your the one who help's me see the bigger picture.
I think this will depend on what the devs and steemit really think about those who want to establish quality content for their niche.
I think part of the challenge is that Steem and Steemit were basically synonymous until fairly recently. Some folks understood that there was a difference, but most didn't. And the same devs were working on both, so it was quite blurred.
Today few still understand the distinction. This will become more clear as others build on the Steem blockchain. At least I think it will. :)
Your right however it takes both sides in balance to have success.
Know one should be taken for granted here, and we look forward to strong support from marketing or whats the point of putting out so much effort every single day here.
