This is normal, there will always be big businesses that see potential in others and try to integrate it into theirs so they can reap profit before the "little guys" can fully develop, but this is the risk to transform something community based into corporate interest based, it's mostly up to people to stop it, as no company can exist without the people to use their services that brings them money, i do hope block chain is the next step of the internet, and that old models go away and not take over this.
