RE: SugarSteem - A more Personalized Steem Experience - My Profile Update

PLEASE READ THIS

I am tragically sad to write that after weeks and weeks of working on the visual design that is the foundation for the above images, i am not being credited for my work, and in fact even insulted that the work is not mine, when it clearly is built off my original Sketch file and visual design style guides. i am currently writing a post to explain why I feel this way in debt, but I ask that everyone supporting this project please read into this matter. I am just a minnow, I dont want to cause a war, but my name should not be erased from a project I worked many days and nights helping to realize. I'm still new to Steemit, and have no idea what to do. If anyone can offer advice on this please do. I would like to request my visual design be taken off of this project, and these posts to be taken down, as it was built using my Sketch files, and my visual design, which I did not authorize use of.

Please read my post about how this is affecting the @sugarsteem project, that I was very much a part of shaping and creating:

Wtf? You stated in messages that you were going to be busy for weeks and unavailable. You didn’t do the work for any of the changes that were posted nor influenced the design changes. You weren’t credited for the work as you didn’t do the work that was changed i did. I spent hours reshaping MY PROJECT. How the heck do you get off asking for MY project posts to be taken down after the work i did to iterate and change my design. You’ve spent weeks??? Is that a joke? You skinned 3 wireframes and now you think you have drastically had a carbon footprint in my build oh cmon. Would you like me to include wireframe links to all of the iterations so you can see this?
I’m very fair to give credit where credit is due but you didn’t do the iterative work on these posts. If you’d like me to stub in a sentence that says “early visualizations of wireframe skinned by @itinerantartist “ i can do that if that’ll stop your rant.
But I’ve done far too much on my own project for one freelancer spending a weekend or two on my build to attempt ownership over the intellectual property , ui or design credibility of my UI series.

I spent much more than a weekend or two. And again, that is such an insult to the work and hours I spent helping on this

I don't want credit for your work or the work you did. I asked for a credit for the work that I did, which could have easily been as simple as an added sentence.

You are still using the framework of the visual designs I create. Not earlier version. You are building on top of mine. Same fonts, same imagery, on the file I made.

If you create an entirely new sketch file, and use different layouts/imagery/fonts, then we can be done here.

Added your sentence at your request, even though you didn’t work on the post or it’s altered state.

In fact I did 14 screen iterations, some of which take hours to work on over the course of several days to complete.

Nobody asked that. The task was to skin the ui!

it was a request. and i fulfilled it in the best way i knew how. i spent more time because i wanted it to be spectacular. before there were accolades, and now I'm being berated for wanting to do good work.

you hadn't sent the source file, so I created a new one from scratch. Are you still using the two Sketch files I sent?

No, I’ve rebuilt the entire project in sketch.

you're right though. its YOUR PROJECT. i never claimed it was mine.
