Steemit Count Down Timer Needed - But For Now I Have A Solution - Do You?

Steemit Countdown Timer

When you enter a contest or challenge on Steemit it may say Ends on a certain day and time like Friday at 12am. If the host is thinking ahead they may even add the Time Zone.

But then you have to calculate what time that will be in your time zone. Although, this is easily done the vast majority of participants will not do this and many will enter late.

I found this link that says you can post this timer on your blog or website but when I post it on steemit it says Unsupported.

Here is a picture of the code

These are the options

This is another site that offers the same option.

Here is the code

So there still is no way to set up a timer although I did figure out you can add a GIF but the problem is that it only starts when you load the page.

So I found the solution but just can't get it to show up. Does anyone have a better solution.

I think this is a great idea! I have no experience myself with how you might go about allowing this to function properly on Steemit, but I think it is a wonderful idea! Especially where steemians are spread out all across the globe! I hope that someone will be able to help!
