While I go along with the suggestions, the biggest thing I would like to have is more control over the layout and formatting of my posts than Markdown can provide. But that's just me. I'm a control freak when it comes to document formatting.
What type of layout would you suggest being implemented? I know that HTML can be implemented to make things change too. Like instead of using the Markdown # to make a header, you can also use this:
< h1>word you want to be bold< /h1> (without the spaces)
