Morpheus Believes in Neo You Should Believe in Steemit Too
This is actually a continuation to my previous post. If you haven't read it yet, you can head over there through here.
I did not intend to do this to put you off a cliff but to make the reading experience seamless as possible.
No one is interested in reading novel-length articles nowadays.
So please bear with me on this.
I don't think my novice status in writing will be an obstacle in realising my goals. Instead I consider it as a challenge in overcoming my limitations and rise above beyond my comfort zone.
Challenges keep us alive! They motivate us to keep pushing the wall that marks the boundary of our human capabilities.
Our goal must be of self overcoming--the transmutation of our inner weaknesses that are self-limiting and turn them into a limitless potentials.
As what have Friedrich Nietzsche said
What does not kill me makes me stronger
Isn't it a wonderful experience to shine along with the stars?
That out of her own imperfections come a new and better personality. That by willfully cultivating those impurities a higher characteristics emerge.
I believe that by intentionally aligning myself with the best of this virtual publishing home called the Steem Planet I am gradually elevating myself in the process.
Sure, it's not gonna happen overnight however with persistent effort in due time everything will be in place.
What did I do before
Once upon a time, I was occasionally doing some bubble posting on a revenue-sharing website known as Bubblews.
It was somewhat similar to what the Steemit platform has to offer only that the system of monetization was completely different.
The move was a direct consequence to my inability to run a personal blog with the ultimate goal of becoming an affiliate or niche marketing.
Along the way on that short-lived writing journey I decided to stop posting my bubble pieces due to some technical issues and on the other hand, just to be honest with you, I was truly hesitant as to whether it was worth the effort or just a complete waste of time.
And truth be told, I sometimes feel the same way here on Steemit community.
We all know that setting up a website nowadays is pretty easy as long as the financial aspect is there which is needed to sustain your online presence.
All you have to do is hire the service of a web developer, an SEO specialist, register a domain name, lease for a hosting service provider, and there you have it up and running. It is all up to you whether you outsource the content or do it yourself (DIY).
In my case however my initial plan was to do the hussle diligently all by myself from scratch.
And my supposed to be checklist for that would have include the following.
- Register a domain name
- Buy a premium Blogger theme
- Customize the template
- Set up through the Google's Blogspot (it's free)
- Write keyword targeted content
- Optimize for SEO
Maintaining a blog in this way is quite mind-fucking and time consuming practice but it's still possible nevertheless.
But things have changed so fast.
Thanks to the creation of cryptocurrency which paved the way to the development of blockchain technology.
Today due to these transformative changes, my initial goal has also changed drastically.
Your traditional social media pages are no longer showing up on your followers' newsfeeds.
We are living in a world where search engine algorithms are becoming so unpredictable more than ever. Your pursuit for SEO dominance has fallen into the hands of artificial intelligence.
Why I choose to blog on Steemit
I have asked to my self, why would I rely on individual content publishing when you can have a community of active readers around you within your reach so long as you are providing value?
On top of that I get paid for my content without having to turn my web pages into a supermarket of annoying advertisements.
The answer is a no-brainer.
It doesn't take a genius to see the benefits of blogging through Steemit.
The promise of blockchain is the main reason why I am still holding on to this platform. I am not saying that I am not interested for the rewards. Of course I do. I have bills to pay just like you.
Critics will always have something to say, which admittedly there were times it resonates with my own skepticism.
Even so I believe in Steem blockchain despite what the detractors were saying.
I put my trust in @steemit, and will continue to push as far as I can go. Not because I am blinded with fanaticism but because of the revolutionary potentials it brings--disruptive and unprecedented.
Just keep the faith.
Until then @introvertspeaks
"Our goal must be of self overcoming--the transmutation of our inner weaknesses that are self-limiting and turn them into a limitless potentials"
Calm down Buddha! haha.
Jokes aside I think Steemit is definitely the platform to be. Keep up the hussle!
Thanx for pointing that out @nesian101 noted and modified now. Never thought I was doing it wrong. Nonetheless, the hussle must go on. (:
It seems you are REALLY honest with this.
"This is actually a continuation to my previous post."
Your previous posts seem to be continuing ;)
Of course @apsu I do. Once I reach that level of $5/post I'm going to be the next full-time steemer. :p
