Yes that's the point of giving us Steem Dollars when we sign up. We all have a vested interest in bringing in users because ultimately the more ACTIVE users, the more our personal accounts' values increase. I even have re-done my business card (for my other ventures) to bring people to Steemit first as my landing page, and my podcast is "hosted" here as well, with external links to the audio, etc.
