Thanks for letting us know as I was totally unaware of the changes and have always used post image

    Your welcome! The new feature was introduced just within the last 24h. But it seems that it´s up to the users to notice such updates and to report them to the community. I´d wish that such updates would be accompanied by an announcement from the official @steemitblog. This would ensure that everyone arrives at the same page in short time.
