Dtube & Dsound Are Undisputed Champions Of The Steem Blockchain!!!

Are you a musician, story teller, extreme sports enthusiast, dare devil, ice bucket challenge master or even just a plain old vlogger! Dtube and Dsound are the most brilliant additions to the Steem blockchain.

Let me explain a little bit about Dtube and Dsound and why they are such an asset to the Steemit blockchain and to our goals in a more decentralized and better world. I am blown away by the never ending awesomeness that developers keep producing.

First before I get into detail about Dtube and Dsound I will first make it very clear that I am not a developer, witness, computer guru, coder or any other master of the computing world. I am a Wizard though, a Sheet Metal Wizard! Seriously though I can pretty much make anything out of metal. If I can think of a way to add that to the blockchain I will lol.

Let's tackle Dtube first

Youtube is Dtubes bitch!

Now, I said that because it's true. I know that youtube has a lot more users and viewers and of course they do. They have been around for a long time and Dtube is still quite new. Here's the main differences which are the game changers as far as I'm concerned. Dtube is decentralized unlike youtube and free of censorship by the Big Daddy! Yes of course you can be censored on Dtube it's called Steemit users flagging your post but it's not the same thing as being censored when people want to see it.

Dtube runs 100% ads free which is amazing because I absolutely despise those youtube ads. Instead Dtube will take a fee of 25% of your post (I blieve that's still the current rate) but they do try and upvote peoples posts which in return should balance itself out. Dtube will be lowering the percentage as more users actively use Dtube for their videos in the future.

Dtube fees are in place only because the cost for the servers are really high and it's the only option if you want no censorship and no ads. They are always working to update the server and usability of the site.
How many people using youtube actually make money for their videos? I would guess it's not that many people and I personally don't know anyone who does or has. I do know a lot of people who have posted a video on Dtube and have earned money via the Steem blockchain on Steemit!!!

There might be a few hiccups along the way but don't give up and go right back to youtube we all need to make these changes together!

Dsound was created by @prc a Steemit User. Dsound is similar to Soundcloud but runs on the Steem blockchain. You can upload, download and listen to music on a beautiful decentralized application. Dsound also collects 25% of your post rewards to cover it's costs since servers aren't free :).

DSound is NOT about facilitating the sharing of copyrighted material, but it is all about freeing the authors of the pressures of the major labels and giving them a tool that enables them to make decent living out of their creations without having to be signed to a label and enslaved their lives.

Start using Dtube & Dsound if you aren't already. These two applications are literally game changers and there is nothing but good that can come from them. Don't support that greasy 1% who also feeds you stupid ads and will censor your work. Jump on board and once you start you won't look back.
