and the 400 SP delegation goes to......

in #steemit6 years ago

Hi everybody,

I feel like I'm crawling out of a cave and entering the light again. I was a bit a lot in pain, after the doctor gave me some oxycodon (morphine derivative) to dream away a bit. I though that it would be much better than the painkillers I was on. When I took this lovely opiate, I thought I would be able to dream away and spend some time sleeping and waiting until the pain would leave my body.

When I took the drug, and mind you I might be dutch and have the availability and ability to experience with marihuana, I never touched it in my live, neither did I ever get drunk or smoke, you might think I am a very proper girl ( woman), but it is actually because Im a control freak and don't like to spend money on useless things, anyway, it took me by surprise. Did you know that about 1:10.000 people first experience more pain on morphine. Well, I DO KNOW NOW!.

Anyway, when the opiates reached my brain, I did not know what hit me, the pain was unbearable, until about 10 minutes later when a gulf of heat came as a blanket over my body, and with it, a stream of nausea. I decided to lie on the ground, and I think I did not leave it for 6 hours, until the pain came back, which was a relieve, as the remedy was worse than the pain.
I needed to face up to the fact that I could not function, and that the pain is something I would have to go through, but I do want to thank people for their kind advices on steemit. I am a very weak person, as I tried to fast, as I know that it will relieve me from pain, but did not manage more than a day, and I realise there are people out there that fast, not out of choice, for much longer for they have no money for food.

I am finally feeling better, and therefore I shall not let everybody wait anymore on who gets some SP

One of the contestants rightfully said, what does SP actually give you?
It's a hard question, because in the scheme of Steemit, 400 sp is not a lot, but at least you will be able to see a bit of difference when you upvote somebody, and it has motivated me to keep on going on this platform

Then I was left with the hard decision who to give it to for to weeks. I had a lot of time to contemplate, without looking at the computer, I remembered all of you.

@mitchelunique, because I really like her blog.
@eunireal1, because of the conversation, and the fact that she is going to work in a pharmacy, i'm quite biased towards woman in medicine, as a chemist.
@cherylsonty, because she is just incredibly kind.
@freedomshift, because he is focused on making friends
@figuringoutsrn, because of his unique genre that he writes about and I think that is totally excellent
@freedoms, because he/she is a bit demotivated to get started.
@jo5h, because he hosts contests
@julietisrael, because she is a diva, with a good hart
@anoukknox, because I personally like her and her devotion, but biased towards Dutch people.
@happysmileyman, because he is funny
@ashley4u, because she supports her family, and really really wants the sp.
@nateinsav, I really like his blog and analyses
@iamthegray, because he writes beautifully, and explained really well what he would do with the SP
@machnbirdsparo for wanting more visibility
@gduran for his honesty

I like you all, but I decided to choose two of you hopefully without being biased, that to me seemed like you wanted it most, and could motivate them further on this platform. And I might be wrong, I am sorry if I am.

  1. iamthegray
  2. ashley4u

I will delegate today first to @Iamgrey, and then in two weeks time to @ashley4u.

Meanwhile I am approaching the 500 followers, and might, just might delegate 500sp, so stay tuned. Though I do hate competitions, as I have to disappoint more people than I can make happy :-(.

Wow , I didn't know , omg sis ❤️

@hefziba - For your next delegation I would like to nominate @steemmatt who runs the "Daily Fitness Challenge" which you have participated in. So I think you know his dedication.

I am sorry to hear that you were feeling so poorly. IBS can be tough to deal with. I am glad you are seeing a doctor and you probably have received a lot of recommendations from many other people. However, if you want some other ideas then sent me a post.
Get better. Stay healthy.

Any idea is welcome. Doctors just do t know what to do with it, though my doctor has been helpful and open minded. You are right @ steemmat really deserves a delegation, but I already closed this competition and I already promised it to somebody else for the comming weeks.

Slippery Elm is very good to coat the intestines and also helps seal up "leaky gut". But with serious case of IBS you need to find the cause. I am not a doctor so don't take this as medical advice. I am not an expert nor trained. I can tell you from my experience.

If there is a parasite in the intestines causing this, then that has to be found. I spent a lot of years in India and had problems for years. I did many stool tests which all came out negative. But then, after years, I saw a specialist/pathologist in tropical disease in NYC. He used a proctoscope inserted a short distance into the rectum; looked inside; scraped a sample from the walls of the intestine; and then analyzed it. Turns out I had some serious amoebas and some other things. I took the prescribed medicines and it cleared it up. That is the medical approach and I highly recommend it if you haven't already had a procedure similar to this.

Now, if this were me, I'm thinking what else would I do. And after the doctor's and their diagnosis, I would also do something more "esoteric" with someone I have found to be immensely helpful. That is seeing a spiritual "healer" named Master John Douglas. He has literally saved the life of a relative of mine; cured people I know with very advanced Lyme disease, and a host of other healings. He is very good with analyzing and killing infectious diseases. He has helped me a few times when I was really sick. He will be touring the US in May and June but I think you are in Europe. He does do healings remotely, i.e. from a distance which also work well. But then you don't get the feedback. Just the healing. If you are interested in this, PLMK and I can give you more info.

P.S. I don't go to other "healers" as I don't feel most of them have a total knowledge and perspective. They can have some abilities but.... I know and trust and see the results of what Master John Douglas does.

I hope you are feeling better.

Thank you for this extensive explanation. I never went through this, though the doctors did many other tests. It seems to be related to food. But maybe I am relating it to it, as the doctors are. I did the FODMAP diet, and eliminating glutes and lactose already gave me enormous improvements, but I still sometimes have heavy episodes, but I did cheat on my diet and ate a bit of bread, it might have upset me more than I expected. I’m doing ok again, also intermittently fasting helps with the low level pains.
I’m a bit to rational for the spiritual healing, though I do notice that we can heal a lot with our own brain, still I don’t believe we can heal everything with it.
I still try to stay open minded though to other thinking.
Thank you, I am rereading what you wrote and I will let it sink in, to consider what to do with your advice.

Congratulations to the winners! @hefziba I don't know exactly what you mean by the sentence "because I personally like her and her devotion, but biased towards Dutch people"? Do you mean because the project is mainly for the Dutch? Or did I misunderstood?

Sad to read what you've been going through with the meds and pain, I really feel bad for you that you have to be that 1 in a ..... that experiences this kind of extreme pain first.. Those are heavy meds you have.. I only have had morphine after my c-setions and I did not like it at all I didn't get more pain, but felt incredibly nauseous too.

Take care of yourself !

I just biased, because I have more in common. Biased because it could benefit myself, not meant unpleasant in any way. Thank you for the kind words, I feel much better, I got the meds, because the pain was just so heavy, but it’s not something dangerous, just IBS ( irritable bowl syndrome), but weirdly enough just extreme painfull.

I did not think this but I didnt know the meaning, thats why I asked :) now I understand.. thanks for explaining. Hope the meds will take of the edges ;)

Congratulations to those who got the SP, hopefully, they'll utilize it to the benefit of many....

Thanks a lot for this opportunity....For extending your giving hand to others....

I'm very sorry though, about your health....I do hope that you recover completely, and soon too.

And about me being a diva and having a good heart, it sure did make me smile...

Thanks a lot...

I’m glad I made you smile!

Your active ! And doing well :) I can't keep up ! Not enough enrgy for steem with my work time .....

keep it up !

Iso

When you are less busy, tell us about your wonderfull world, in your beutifull pictures.

Though I do hate competitions, as I have to disappoint more people than I can make happy

The best will always get while the rest will try again. In life, i come to understand that losers win more. Why? They are not satisfied with failure and that makes them to keep trying until they win.
Everyone can not win at the same time, else there will be no value placed on success.

Congrats to the winners and thanks for your generous acts all the while.
Stay strong and healthy my friend @hefziba

Thank you and Happy Easter Gideon!

Congrats to the lucky ones, we would try again next time.

Wow

@hefziba, thanks a lot.

I didn't even know about this until @jo5h told me. Thank you.

I have a request though and I hope I'm not pestering.

Could you send it to my curation account? @Grayesque

I'm on a 'break' from steemit so I am not as active as I was. But with the account, I can put those folks I talked about on autovote

The final decision is up to you though.

Thanks for the win. Delegation or not, it makes me happy

Blessings

Too late, just noticed you've sent it

Thanks

Blessings

Sorry, too fast. I can change it in one week to the other account. Would you prefer that? Or nominate another person for the second week.

I think I'll go with the first option. Wouldn't have bothered you but my VP has been hovering around 60%. Two days of no upvoting should reset it to 100 though.

Thanks once again.

I never expected this

Blessings

Lost of blessings

Hoping you have recovered from the IBS flare up. I know IBS can be a long term struggle. I have a friend who has dealt with it most of her life. Also, thank you so much for the honorable mention in this blog article! I am glad to that you enjoy the analysis posts I make. I really appreciate your support. Be well. Nate
