Let me start off by saying only professionals should attempt permanent hair extensions.

You will see many skills in video that take years to learn correctly.  We run a professional salon that only does hair extensions out of Miami Beach, FL for over 6 years.  We also were the first business to accept Crypto Currency in 2013 in Miami Beach.  You can google me and verify us very easily on the Internet.

I also happen to love trading and investing into crypto currencies but more on that in a later post.  I will be introducing myself as we go along in these post.  My main areas of expertise are hair extensions, starting and running businesses and finance.  Ask me any questions about those three and I can tell you a lot ;-)

Step by Step written instructions to compliment video:

Step 1

Shampoo hair at least 3 times on the roots with clarify shampoo.  The brand does not matter but you must get the hair squeaky clean!  This is so important! 

Step 2

Blow dry straight with round brush. Flat iron if necessary. Make sure its straight and bone dry.

Step 3

Divide hair off from the bottom at least 1 1/2" from hair line and place tape 1/8" from part pressing down firmly against head.

Step 4

Flip tape hair up. Whatever naturally sticks to tape is what you want. Section any loose hair away with clip. Now stick tab underneath to adhere to tape hair.

Step 5

Take grip pliers and press firmly.

6th Step

Move all the way around and up the head section by section, repeating. 

7th Step

Point cut or hot razor cut to blend layers in. 

Additional Advice

Many Stylist always ask how much hair does it take? The answer is it depends on how much hair you have to blend and how much thickness and length you want. For most people you'll need 100 grams of hair or 2 packs of our tape ins. Now in this clients case she has very fine hair we only used 12 pieces (slightly over 1 pack) or 65 grams and she's looking like a full head. This is because she has very fine hair. If you have thick hair you'll need 150 grams to 200 grams of hair.

The placement of the extensions, color blending and cut are the key to how natural the extensions will look. Each of these is an art form. Believe it or not we could spend a whole weekend just going over how to properly cut hair extensions. The most important thing is to have the extensions blend into the clients on hair. In other words, the color has to be blending into her hair and the layers have to frame into her face around the head very softly. The key word is softly. Never cut hair extensions with scissors bluntly! It will look like a broom and not natural.

Using great quality hair is essential. If you are buying cheap hair its a fake and you might as well throw it away. Its not even worth the time to put it in. A lot of hair is mixed with synthetic or animal hair. With that said the hair has to be natural human hair with in the best quality condition. You can never go wrong with the wash test to see what's really the hair quality. Clarify hair 3 to 4 times then let it air dry. If it does not feel soft and easily detangle. Its not good hair. Great quality human hair can last 1 to 2 years depending upon your lifestyle.

Tools you'll need.  Tail comb, clips, pliers, single tabs and tape hair.

Must look like this flipped up.  Nice thin layer of hair and tab for support. Single sided tapes ROCK!  Lighter and better for the hair.
