It's hold true that HF19 update has made a punch of money for all users in the first day of the update but If you notice the results of it for the users after that huge profits made, you will find that almost 85% of people had a big decline in their earnings.

I made a research personally until I discovered that and decided that I will keep studying the matter until I know the reasons why all the users have made this punch of money in a minute and suddenly had a big drop in their average earnings including me too.

So, in this article, I'm going to tell you the reasons, advantages, and disadvantages.

Personally, few minutes before the update my week earnings was $55 and I was a little down so I decided to go and make a cup of tea then come back to steemit and keep my work up.

Now, let's start with the cause of this big increase in profits in those few minute.

why users had big increase in their earnings without doing anything?

simply, the HF19 update has increased the voting power up to almost 400% so the post that had earnings of $10 before the update became with almost $40+ after the update and that's because of the increase of voting power.

and this is almost the only advantage of HF19.

also there is a point that's considered an advantage for highly powered users only. it's simply the high increase in voting power for highly powered users that they decided to take its benefit for theirselves as I saw a highly powered guy upvoting his post with 100% which deserves $224.

Why less powered users have a decline in their earnings average after the update?

Simply, most of the highly powered users became stingy "less generous" after they had this big increase in their voting power and everybody of the decided to be less helpful to new users ans less supportive by stopping voting on the comments of their followers and also their posts.

even if they vote, the use the slider to vote with very small power and for sure this had caused a big drop in newbies earnings.

Easily because they now have less incentive to be active member either by posting or commenting.

So, the big increase in voting power is both a friend "for highly powered users" and an enemy for "newbies" as they had less incentive and most of them became disappointed.
