I wanted to share a quick reminder with you guys to help you save your SBD, as the lovely @incrediblesnow did for me with this comment:
This happened 2 days ago according to Randowhale's post and I had no idea so I have been sending across 2 SBD instead of the 1 SBD necessary. According to the post @randowhale has also increased their voting range, so you will be getting more for less.
So thanks @incrediblesnow, if anyone is a big user of @randowhale like myself you will definitely save yourself some dollars.
Do you guys use @randowhale? Or do you have a different voting bot that you prefer?
yeah nice to share about it !! ^^
It is always good to have a look at the lastests posts of randowhale before using it, It happened to me once I send her some sbd but the whale had posted the it was restingm so no upvotes at that time, lost money...
but after that I aways look at its post before using it Lesson learned ^^/
ahh okay thats a shame.... I did that once but randowhale send me the SBD back to tell me it was taking a nap haha :)
Yeah you are definitely right though, I think I will get in that habit now too of checking @randowhales posts before I transfer - good tip Andy :)
how do you put the steemit logo in the title? I like it =D
you choose to 100% power up your post instead of receiving 50/50 SBD and Steem :)
oh I see, I am still not sure if it worth to choose the 100% power up. especially after this post from @jerrybanfield saying that we literally lose about up to 37% of the total reward by choosing the 100% option =P
heyyy yeah I was always doing 50/50... then I switched to Power Up when value of Steem dropped down because apparently that was better... but you are right, I think price has risen again so I should switch back to 50/50 now :) thanks for reminding me @andyluy you are always so sensible, and a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Steemit :)
Hannahlicious, glad that I was helping you!
You must be a kind person as spreading this news to others thanks!
An upvote was given to you!
thanks so much @incrediblesnow
I'm surprised to see more people haven't tipped you for the reminder :)
This is because they are stingy!
Hope you have a pleasant experience in steemit!
hahahahah!! that made me laugh out loud :)
thanks and you too!
Good post man
thank you :)
... great tip, thanks!
no worries @nzfxtrader :)
Thanks for the tippy tip @hannahlicious
no problemo @morkrock :)
🙌
I never use it but i have seen it around in a lot of posts... it really makes a difference when it votes or there are just fairy tales?
it does make a difference when it votes, sometimes it could be by the same as what you put in sometimes it could be a few dollars more.... So it's kind of a gamble... but I like to use it on every post! It's only a dollar now so maybe you should try it once and see what it does for your post? How much you get depends on the % which is just luck!
Ok thanks a lot for the info as i was really curious. I notice you are use it for a while in all your posts that's why i asked as there are so many opinions about it... maybe i will try it at least few times to see how is going in my case!
I do not use randowhale. I am trying to share and promote my blog posts on my own and reach as many people as I can. I believe that members that find my article valuable will upvote and resteem.
That's a great stance to have :)
I missed the memo too and incredible snow let me know 😁
he's a good egg that incredible snow :)
A question, just in case you have the time. Since the new amount of 1 SBD instead of 2, I see randowhale has had a very low voting power percentage for a lot of time, maybe days. Yesterday it had about 30%, and now it has 26%. How does that affect it´s ability to upvote? It seems to work just as it did before, but I am curious, since I cannot function if my voting power goes below 80%.
When the voting percentage goes down the vote will be worth less. So randowhale can still vote at this percentage, but you may not get as big of a payout increase on your post :) when you vote a lot it wears the power down... because there is not an infinite amount of money to give away in votes :)
I understand. Thanks. What about the influence in reputation? A vote from randowhale with 100% power vote will have a different effect in the author´s reputation than if the vote were at, say, 26%?
