Small girl distinguish colors by sniff!
The 11-year-old girl, Dibti Regmi, from Nepal, developed an oddly spontaneous ability last year. It is incomprehensibly able to smell colors, and can identify the color is blindfolded. Although they have not received any formal diagnosis, their ability appears to be related to sensory phenomena known as synesthesia.
The phenomenon of Sinsetisia causes confusion in sensory phenomena, which makes the person stimulate one sense (such as the eyes) in another sense (the nose). This is what makes Deppte distinguish colors, and others can visualize color when they hear certain music, or know the flavor of tasting when they hear certain sounds.
Has been trained to strengthen her sense of smell in the hope that she will eventually be able to use her ability to help the visually impaired.
The video footage shows that the girl was able to identify several different colors by inhaling her smell, and she was blindfolded. It also claims to be able to identify colors printed in a newspaper and read the printing by feeling it out.
