Faucets for New Steemit Users to generate steem power

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

So I've been testing out ways to generate more steem power given, that our beloved steem is picking up.

So I've been busy trialing out http://coinpot.co in the last two days, with it's list of faucets and yes it does actually pay you freebies after every 5 minutes or so, depending on how often you like to claim your rewards.

I had my doubts at first, but I was more interested in understanding how this faucets work, so I gave it try and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It actually paid direct to my coinpot wallet as promised.

This was too good to be true, so I looked it up, and found it be legit, which settled my nerves abit. 😅

It's actually a micro wallet, pretty neat in my opinion. You can read it up from review link provided at the end of this post:

Snippet from the review site:

Reasons for creating CoinPot is to offer extra features including
Combine earnings from multiple faucets - so you can reach withdrawal threshold quicker
Additional withdrawal options - Xapo, FaucetHub and Faucet System initially - as well as direct to your wallet of course
Extra security for your funds (optional 2FA)
More coming soon - including option to instantly convert between coins.

I personally don't prefer Xapo for it's bad reviews I read from numerous sources so I skipped that, but I haven't used Xapo to pass a proper judgement either. So you be the judge with Xapo.

Ok the process to follow on how to get started:

  1. First you register with http://coinpot.co to create your coinpot wallet using your email. Coinpot works in a way, that it links your wallet address to your email, for it's faucets to be able to send your cliams directly. Works similar to how we transfer on steemit using usernames. Pretty simple for non-techies to work with it.

  2. Then you access each of the faucet links below and register using your Coinpot email, you used in step 1.

http://moonbit.co.in - to claim bitcoins or satoshis

http://moonliteco.in - to claim litecoins or latoshis

    http://moondoge.co.in - for doge coins

There are actually other faucets listed, but I haven't really tried it all, links are below for the two I haven't tried yet.

http://bitfun.co and http://moondash.co.in

  1. So once you have accumulated enough coins to withdraw, then simply head over to https://blocktrades.us to send it direct to your steemit wallet.

My Review on Coinpotwallet:

I noticed two main things worth mentioning below:

i. Coinpot wallet's ease of converting different coins for free. It just takes away the pain of sending to exchanges to convert, which is time comsuming and can get complicated especially for new folks learning to use crypto wallets. So yeah, Coinpot does this within the wallet itself.

ii. And it also, has an optional dual authentication system (2GA), which makes it a secure wallet, as a competitive wallet of choice.

Hope this helps, you fellow minows to build on that steem power.

Don't forget to upvote and resteem, to help others as well.

There is something even better than this to earn Bitcoin. https://earnably.com/i/thekyler2 Its a video ad service. You let a video or 2 play in the background. Every time the video plays an ad you get points that can be withdrawn into Bitcoin. You can run multiple videos on many different computers. I run 2 videos per my 4 computers and I make about $10 a day in Bitcoin. Last month with the increase in the bitcoin price I made over $400.

Xapo faucets automatically migrated to Coinpot last October. 😊
Xapo no longer support faucets. 😊
Xapo has the highest fee that's why I didn't use it and haven't withdrew my faucet earnings there since 2015.
I use Coinpot for Steem cash out.
You can join @EarnCrypto if you want to earn Steem from external site. 😊
