I wanted to use easy to interpret but in-depth graphs so everyone can take in the information that I worked so tirelessly to prepare. This is a patented technology I call "Eggplant Metrics."

Steemit Overall Health

As you can see the overall health of Steemit is sitting at 6 eggplants out of 10. The site has made some improvements over the last couple months by way of the new design but I couldn't hand out anymore purple fruit because we're still in beta here. There's some kinks that need to be addressed before this platform is ready for the mainstream. Once the site works better we'll all feel more comfortable introducing new people to it.

Active Users

One look at the graph(it's not a graph is it? It's more of a rating system but I've already started this and I got shit to do today so I'm not changing it.. we're gonna call it a graph ok? Good) you can tell it's not the strongest indication of throbbing purple eggplants. We have on average 25k active users a day and that number hasn't gained much over the last couple of months. Stagnant growth isn't good but I feel the kinks and lack of promotion go hand in hand here. Steemit.com needs to address this if we're to add serious numbers into the fold.

User Engagement

With the advent of auto voters I'm seeing even the most rewarded posts have an unequal amount of actual views to votes. My wacky ass posts have far more votes than views too, while I'm super thankful to be thought enough of to be on people's autovoters, nothing beats getting actual eyeballs on our posts. My team (it's just me and my cat Ginger) are working on ways to draw people in and engage them and to promote positive interaction, because that is what will make this site strong.

As you've probably noticed there's a corn hanging out in the chart. That's there because there's so many bots on here. Bots aren't really people so I can't count them as user engagement.

Steem Price

I gave the price 7 out of 10 because while the price is down overall, it's still up in the last week or so. We're over a dollar now and I feel that's good psychologically. Confidence will come once the site is fixed and working smoothly. Proper promotion and attracting new people will inevitably make the price more upwards. Steem the crypto has alot going for it and this platform has an incredible amount of potential, thus my fairly good assesment of said price.

Site Layout

The look of Steemit is great. Although many people didn't like the new logo I think we've warmed up to it now. Nightmode is just fantastic and the overall layout of Steemit was good to begin with. I don't think the development team gets enough credit here. I hope they see how many eggplants they've earned on this, you're welcome guys and one girl.

Quality Content

This is another strong area for Steemit. The quality of content on here is really good. Sure there's alot of shit posts, alot of the trending posts are so so and we also have whatever the hell I do?.. but overall the quality of content here is great. I find myself amazed at some of the writing, discussions, music, artwork, photography (those last 3 are all arts aren't they? Oh well you get the picture..) here on this site. The only problem I see is you really have to dig around to find it. I feel we need more emphasis placed on curating. With the current setup I don't see how to make this happen though, a majority of people are dead set on just maximizing their curation payouts and not voting on lil minnows quality posts. Again I don't offer or claim to know how to improve this, I'm just a guy in his pajamas making graphs with eggplants.

Well there it is folks, my review of some key areas of Steemit. While the Eggplant Metrics speak volumes I'm not sure they're going to replace @penguinpablo's Steemstats..but that's not why I created this.. I did this because I find eggplants funny and I needed to make a post for today before I head off to my stupid job.
