I saw your post and thought I would stop by and say hi. I am with you wholeheartedly regarding the vote bots. I haven't used one myself in the three months I've been here and I'm okay with that.
It's not easy to grow here, but it's also not meant to be a make money fast deal either. So, we do what we can to meet people with similar interests and then work on making good posts and comments.
I see you've been here since March, so since I haven't said it to you before, welcome to Steemit, and I hope you continue to find your way.

Yeah, I feel ya on the bots - it just doesn't make much sense to me unless a person has money to waste.
I agree with your perspective, and I've seen a lot of posts about making money with steemit; they also tend to say that it's not a quick thing. I totally get it. I do hope that I can connect with quality individuals (such as yourself) and learn a little somethin' here & there.
