I have seen Steemians using it and they get all the payout as SBD which is awesome :)

Unfortunately no.
Once the payout method has been set, there is no way to change it.
So you gotta write the post in the site?
Yes you have to write it there. But since there is no styling possible there, you can write the post on Steemit and then copy the HTML there to make it easier.
