Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery now and he should be ok!
Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! DAY 61 UPDATE
Happy Friday! Floppy loves Fridays, I think he knows that he weekend is approaching and he'll be able to spend more time with us lol. The day started as normal; Lu wanted his mama to take him to school today, so I walked FLop and didn't have to worry about Lu's breakfast today. Flop and I set out. I've been in a routine the past few days of jogging for about a minute or two, so we did that again.
After his jog he walked for another few minutes and dumped out his poop!
When I got inside, he got his beggin strip, I said goodbye to Vanessa and Luey, and headed out to work. I'm guessing he got another treat from Vanessa before they left lol.
Flop's afternoon was routine, but we saw 3 dogs along the way! He barked ab it, but not as much as usual surprisingly!
The dogs may be tough to make out, but they were there lol...
Of the three we saw, he barked at this one the most:
Flop took another big poop afterwards (not sure if I'm sharing too much here lol)
After his walk, we chilled on the couch for a little while Vanessa worked out.
Then we went out to grab some Tacos for dinner. Unfortunately, Flop knew we were leaving and he jumped off the couch :(
When we got home, Vanessa took Luey upstairs and I got some laundry done. I went out for a cigarette and took him out with me, he went pee, and then we went back inside. I gave him a beggin strip and noticed that his food bowl was empty, he must have been super hungry today. I filled up his bowl, gave him some fresh water, and went upstairs for the evening. He started crying again for us, but at least I knew he just wanted to be near us and didn't need to go outside cause he just went.
All in all, a great day for Floppers, bring on the weekend!
