The Help My Dog Challenge: Day 61 - $185.37 of $5,120.00 - Please Upvote this Post to Help Floppy

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery now and he should be ok!

Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! All of your kind words & support have been amazing so far and as you can see, it is growing by the day, so thank you so much!

DAY 60 UPDATE

It was beautiful out this morning so Flop and i took a nice walk to start the day. Lu was sleeping in a bit so I didn't have to worry about breakfast yet.

Since I had a few extra minutes, Flop and I did another 90 second jog!

...he's really building up his strength!!!

We celebrated with a selfie, which as you'll see, turns out to be a theme for the day...Selfie Wednesday LOL, I have like 3 of them today.

All that running built up a poop, I captured the moment!

I got back inside and gave Flop a few mini biscuits. Vanessa had Lu finished up with breakfast so we headed off to school.

I had to go to Publix after work because we needed a lot of groceries. I picked Lu up, went to Publix, and we got back home around 645, which is much later than normal as some of you probably know. Thankfully he did not have any accidents inside. It took me about 10 minutes to unpack all of the groceries, so Flop had to wait a few extra minutes.

We finally got outside and Flop had to go really bad. You can tell summer is inching closer; even though it was later than normal, the sun still hadn't set yet so that was nice.

The afternoon pics look the same as the morning, but I promise, they are different lol. We got inside and I gave him a Beggin Strip, I knew that's what he wanted since he didn't get one this morning.

Lu and I finally sat down for dinner around 7. Vanessa was out for dinner with some wok colleagues this evening so I picked up some food for Lu and I from the Publix deli. It was yummy.

Flop got a few Potato Wedges, he was happy!

We went upstairs after that to get Lu bathed and in bed by 8. Vanessa got home around 815, spent a few minutes with FLop, then came upstairs.

Flop started crying downstairs for us around 845, which is very odd...I resisted going down at first, but ultimately went down there to take him outside. He had to go pee, which is also weird because he had gone pretty reently, but I really just think he wanted another snack LOL...he got a mini biscuit (just one, because I thought he was playing me lol).

I made sure he was comfy in his little bed and went upstairs for the evening.
