I'm not actually 100% positive if this is the record, but 10k views is definitely a lot of views.

Why so many views?
I'm also not 100% positive, but I suspect that google search is producing my post for those searching for information regarding the Lunyr crowdsale or development team.
I assume it's not members of the Steemit Community because it only has 50votes and I haven't received a vote in over a month...
But its still exciting
I have been keeping an eye on the views and it averages about 200 per day and it just broke 10k today.
Most YouTube videos don't break 10k
Think of the exposure for Steemit!

I thought view counts only acknowledge people who are logged into Steemit. It's still cool that post cleared 10k views.

I would think so. There is no way its all from steemit.
I think this place might be slow to grow, but if people are directed here from google search, it could just explode one day
