Question to all the minnows, what is your highest payout for your article.

Can I ask you a question? I am curious of your highest payout ever received on one of your articles.
Please don't count any bot distribution.
Mine was 12.00 SBD.
So if I look at this article which is only 3 lines have already 43 votes. However the amount is very low. Articles that I spend an hour on only gets 13 votes.
he he you are trying to learn how things work...thats good :)... my highest was about 40 some Sbd. about a dragon I made long ago see...let me make some points to earn here
participate in contests, challenges, competitions, etc.. (that's how I got my major rewards) these are alltags that you can click on your Home's right side; also tags like photography, art etc. are on top; contests etc are usually being watched by curators that promote creativity works and occasionally will report to a fat whale your work and that's when you get 50, 60, 70 upvote by one click like for example my second biggest reward was made thanks to a referral of my post to a group of trusted curators and not a day passed that I got an upvote of almost 60 by a guy named hendrikgrote i think wich hold something like 1,600,000 Steem power...which is double if not triple of what randowhale has lol...in the end you have to look for the people that help the minnows grow , talk to them, participate in their contest, build reputation by not getting a downvote, etc...there are poems, stories writing contest all over steemit so if you like writing paste your link in those writing challenges and wish for the best...make it a routine...you will get much needed exposure...tell a real story that happened and that you think it's worrth a while writing it down...it could be about or just a thought or opinion about something...give it your signature touch for originality..you can do that by making sure the story is yours...the reader feels that authenticity or not...am sure you have some story to tell aside crypto and the usual...you can have a crypto story why not...
the second point will be about trading: so you made your first dollars hmm...what now? well you can
1- trade it with steem by buying low and selling at high (if you trade wisely you can gain up to 50% or more)
the 3rd point is about depositing your dollars in banks like (@tipu), (@neoxian) these 2 will get you small rewards every few days or monthly but it is better that letting them sit in your wallet doing nothing...read all of their posts and you will find other information and banks with higher interests rate...ust read the last months posts and relative comments and you will have a go am sure...
the 4th point is about the 3rd point but with SP or steem power...instead of sitting there why not delegate them to @minnowbooster for some small daily sbd returns or even rent them to other users for a week to months...
hope I was of help...I mainly want to trade and delegate possibly because rewards on post are ...well you know already...but...I have to make posts at the beginning to earn enough sbds and steem power to get me off ...actually if you post and play with rewards at the same time then you are doing what the big dawgs are doing here...
that's how players play...all day, everyday...I don't know what else to say...

What I like the most here is the fun part at least , you have got a platform to express yourself and there is an audience to appreciate it. Some mind blogging , cudgel your brain kind of platform so money or no money , doesn't matter.

That's impressive indeed. However your other articles are of the sam quality yet they end aroun 2 SBD. So what happened with this paticular article?
My first articles got high payouts $300, $200. After the hard fork 19 a lot of people started upvoting themselves and my payouts dropped. Could be coincidence but after that it got harder to get high payouts. I hope hard fork 20 will change things around.
What's a hard fork?
A hard Fork is a software update for Steemit. Usually they also change some things. In the last Hard Fork 19 they changed how voting works. Before the hard fork nobody really upvoted themselves because the votes were not worth much and you had a lot more votes (40 a day).
Don't get discouraged because you are not getting high payouts just have fun on the platform.
Some tips to get more out of Steemit:
Not everyone gets high payout immediately and as I said the new Hard Fork is coming and may change things around so that life gets better for us minnows.
I am still learning I have only been here 3 weeks. I'm not in it for the money. I'm more in it for the writing an the social debate. But debate is also very minimal unfortunately. I'll stick to it and keep writting and improving , who knows what will happen.
So once every so often we find a niche but overall it is fighting for the leftover that didn't go to the whales. Do you think you can maintain the value of future post for the same subject or d you think it was a one of?
I had a couple of high paying posts. It is a combination of getting noticed, the size of your following and just sheer luck. Once I got a $70 dollar payout on a post that took me about 15 minutes to make and other times I spend hours on a post only to get a 1 dollar payout. I just have fun, every cent is free money so I don't mind. If I post on Facebook I get nothing, at least here I get paid :)
Yep can't disagree with that. Nevertheless organic feedback like this is more than welcome and a bit lacking.

You get paid every 7 days but don't count yourself rich, it's kind of a ponzi scheme.
Really! Just like other ponzi schemes , getting nothing at the end of the day! What do you suggest then quitting ?
Well there is a very small group that have the majority of the shares. They are called Whales. They make 100+ per article. They claim it is all about quality content but it is more like who you know rather than what you know.
If you want to earn anything you need to put money in it so that your votes count, if you don't you are just fighting for the left overs just like the rest of us.

I put 400 euro in this platform and write (at least I try to) quality content to see if I would stand out in the crowed but so far It did not mae any difference. The idea sounds nice but it doesn't work like that in the real world i think.
Yeah ! seems here kind of prejudiced upvoting , if they know you , they might upvote you , and expect the same from you. But you have got a steempower if you put that amount in. I agree so far 72 hours are more than enough to judge a system. I've been on here for just over two months and my biggest pay out was about $70. I don't recall the exact amount as it seemed to get a little lower as the pay out day came closer. But at one point in the seven days, that post was at $76.58.
