My name is Ahmed Shayan and I am a pakistani and I create original content on Steemit !!
And according to me, Steemit is far better than Facebook, Instagram, Twitter , Snapchat or any other social platform !
The Population of Pakistan according to a survey conduction in 2016 is 193.5 Million. Deducting the people who don't use social media, the remaining population is 150 Million. I want all the 150 Million people of Pakistan to know about Steemit.

Social media platforms like Facebook earn in Millions, but what do they give us in return ? A bunch of likes and a handfull of comments ? Nothing else !
I've been using Steemit for more than 6 Months and believe me it has been a great experience !
AIM OF THIS POST:-
This post aims to make 150 MILLION PAKISTANI USERS familiar to steemit !!, The purpose of this blog is to copy its link and post it on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram e.t.c.
I also own a Youtube channel and I'll be making a Video which describes everything about Steemit !
Why Steemit ?
I have been using Social Media Platforms for more than 9 Years ! But what i got was nothing ! I made videos on Youtube, I wrote blogs on different sites like Reddit and I never got post insights worth all my efforts. I was introduced to steemit by one of my friends @naumnnagra and he told me everything about this platform. I started serious blogging on this site about a months ago and got great public response !
I wrote blogs about technology on this platform and they attracted nice amount of audience :) ! That's not where it ends !! This platform not only pays you for writing blogs but it also pays you for liking and commenting !

What is Steemit ?
Steemit isn't only a blogging platform or a social media site, The site Steemit.com has its own Crypto-currency similar to Bitcoin named as STEEM which is Distributed among the users who contribute in writing blogs and spending their time on it ! Steemit generous pays its users for writing blogs, commenting on blogs and even liking blogs !
How Steemit works ?
Steemit has it's own digital currency named as Steem. The tokens are distributed among the user of this platform ! The current price of a Steem token is $6.17, it's price increases and decreases similar to Bitcoin ! When you write a Blog and someone likes/Upvotes it, You get paid depending upon the Steem power of the voter ! Steem Power Determines the weight and the price of the vote ! You can increase your Steem power by purchasing it or by reinvesting your earned revenue on Steemit !
Steem power :-
Steem power determined the revenue you make when someone upvotes you and vice versa ! Steem power can be purchased and you also get Steem power when you get the rewards on your blogs :) !
Currently I have very less Steem Power but I'll be investing some money in it shortly !
Payouts :-
Whenever you write something on Steemit, People view it, they like it and you make revenue. This revenue is collected till 7 days and after that it is transferred to your Steemit's Wallet !
Getting started on Steemit:-
Start by typing the URL of the Website Steemit.com in your browser's search bar ! Similar as typing facebook.com
Once you've typed it, you'll be redirected to the website !
This is how the main page looks like
Click on signup to make your account:-
Choose a username:- You'll be redirected to a page where you will choose your username ! Remember, a username must be unique, Two accounts can't have a similar username just like Instagram !
Enter your email:-Once you have chosen your username, enter your email !
Enter your phone number:- After entering your email, Add your phone number !
Verification :-
Once you've entered all this, You will receive an email by Steemit which will tell you to click on the link to verify your email.
Once you click on the link, the website tells you that it will take 12-36 Hours to verify you account !
Verification Successful:-
Once your account is approved, You will receive an email saying that you account has been activated !
Click on the link , Login to your account and start you journey :) !
Setting up Your profile :-
Once you've logged in,You have to set up your profile. Click on settings and add a profile picture and a BIO
To upload your profile picture, Go to https://postimages.org/ and select upload image
Once the image is uploaded, Copy its direct link and paste it into the profile URL section on Steemit
Type of Rewards:-
There are three different types of Rewards on Steemit !
- Steem As mentioned before, Steem is a Crypto-Currency similar to Bitcoin, The users can convert their earned revenue into Steem Tokens, Current price of one Steem token is $6.17
- Steem Dollar Steem Dollar abbreviated as SBD is a stable currency stick to one dollar, It can be converted into Steem
- Steem Power Steem power is responsible for your vote weight ! It is also abbreviated as SP, You can convert you Steem into Steem Power!

Your post insights depend on your reputation, Currently my reputation is 29, It depends upon the number of Upvotes and comments you get on your content !
How to start ? :-
Once you are all set up, after following @frstwalket, You need to write your first post which must be an introduction post, In that post you must describe about yourself. I made a mistake, I posted my introduction after doing a lot of posts and it lowered my insights here is a link to my introductory post
After doing all this stuff you need to follow big accounts like @Jerrybanfield, Contribute in the comments sections and Grow !

What's not allowed ?
Spamming or copying the content from somewhere is strictly prohibited ! It can get you flagged !
Caution :-
Be very careful while storing you password/WIF provided by the website because it can not be restored in case it is lost ! That's because Steemit respects the privacy of its users and has no access over their passwords !
