RE: Irritated By Steemits Performance? Possible Solutions? 22/10/2017

I have no idea WHO is behind the DDOS but what puzzles me the most is WHY

To me they fail to understand the basics of blockchain.

Sure 'they' can bombard steemit.com, but the is just one access point (OK it's the most popular one). Any number of other ways are available to access the steem chain eg busy.org etc

Perhaps the best way to combat the DDOS attacks is to a large awareness campaign. Pushing the multi-access concept.
Then 'they' might realise that ddos attacks are an 'old fashioned' way to shut down a web / data service.

Unless it's just "kiddie-scripts"?
But I suspect / think bigger players are involved (I have no proof of this)

Why most likely is because there is big money involved here and if they can make something annoying or irritating to use there are always people out there who will get some fun out of messing people around and especially so if money is involved. Haha yea could be zuckerberg's cronies @fred777bear dont forget to upvote

I'm not sure 'fun' is right word but I get your point there is big $ involved.

re upvoting, very difficult as a minnow to up vote stuff.
the daily allowance is so low that it's a waste of time doing it.
my votes mean nothing.
My concerns for the platform are however real.
whales vote themselves enough anyhow, they don't need me :-)

Haha well those who get a kick out of it. Ok @fred777bear but your vote is definitely valuable or atleast to me because its not only money thats at play here you have a 41 rep which is way better the 25 the higher your rep the more points I get on my rep with your vote. Yes the whale circle voting is a problem I do wish some would delegate abit more as I would love to curate some post for people.
