We should message steem moderators/creators about this, its an issue that can be fixed.

Steemit can be a marvellous community and i believe in it.
As long as behaviour like this is ejected and potentially all bots are out of the game altogether... I believe in this site and what this could become in the future.

It can be done. Here's how.
It won't be done, because those with substantial stakes that control the platform profit from bots. Most of the account holders that have been here very long do as well.
Most users that don't use bots have little SP, because bots are how to grow SP on Steemit.
I don't care, because I am not here for rewards, but rather the vibrant discourse that yet remains here, that other platforms have quelled with censorship, propaganda, and various means of oppressing free speech.
Fortunately, this makes me immune to fear of flagging. I couldn't spend my Steem if I wanted to, because I don't even have a bank account, because I won't support those crooks.

Like I said, Local BTC seems a good model - but I'm not near a city where I find other Steemers abound.
If you can figger a way to take your Steem and get a handful of fiat from it without involving a bank, please let me know. I am actually trying to use the Local Steem idea, and that could work. I also am back working, so that's a better solution anyway =)

it's very hard to even use bitcoin here atm - (in thailand) - looking itno it now ..
If you are in US you can get a prepaid debit card - put bitcoin onto that - then use an atm....?
(I thought you could, anyway - no bank account needed)

The only moderation on Steemit is VP, and that is created by SP, and that is held by 39 accounts, of which @berniesanders is one.
He IS such moderation as exists on Steemit.
