The purpose is to provide incentive to promote other artists, and to reward those artists in the process. Everyone gets to nominate their artist, share their work, and the winner gets to split the entire post payout 50/50 with that artist. All of the artists have been gaining new followers, and I am very pleased with the level of engagement there has been thusfar. Here's my favorite so far, made by @ashabulimam :)
