Criteria

  • Followers are the first part of our selection process, if there are any micro-minnows with good content. If there aren't we expand further.
  • Must be financial topics.
  • We can agree, disagree, or hold no view of the post's content.
  • The content must reflect work and thought. The work cannot include false accusations, baseless assertions, hype, or pump and dumps. See the below reasons for why - this ultimately harms SteemIt. In addition, we don't want to encourage people to upvote something that will harm SteemIt's credibility in the long run and potentially harm users.
  • If we highlight your content three times, you'll be qualified for an interview with us, since this means your work is solid.

Our reasoning for starting this was posted in The Coming Disaster For SteemIt and How We Plan To Help. If you're new to this series, we recommend you check that out; this is part of why we created the introduceothers tag.

Great Post By @stephenkendal

This week we look at our follower, @stephenkendal, who's been an amazing and informative poster with some great thoughts, one of which we highlight in this post. His post Markets are OVERVALUED by 70%! - and yes we edited the title a little bit - highlights concerns that even we've had, one is:

About a year ago I began to tell everyone that Global Markets were EXCESSIVELY overvalued to the tune of 60%-70% based on a rapidly slowing growth projection and an unprecedented growth in DEBT and DERIVATIVES.

First, standing for what is true will never be popular because most people sadly despise truth. Second, Stephen "gets it" - meaning that he grasps the effects of debt, which sadly most people don't. That alone makes him a voice of reason. Finally, he puts some thought and work into his other posts and is still very active - SteemIt should not lose him, like it has lost other talent.

While we realize he has a higher score than most users who we'll generally pick, we think that his thought and work on his posts are good, which is why we've highlighted him.

Don't Forget

Relative to the course's continued success, we highlight a major SteemIt concern in retire early with cryptocurrencies, that you will absolutely want to know about if you are a content producer. That may come at the end of October. While we're sad that many great writers have left SteemIt - even though their content has been phenomenal, we get it. No one can blame us - we've been trying to help give some overlooked people attention they deserve.

Congrats again @stephenkendal - we hope to see you around FinTekNeeks, as you have some great stuff and we like people with your caliber of value.
