Another Physical Steem project – Meet @thesteemhouse

As a part of @sndbox incubator I try to seek and help physical projects that are being executed all over the Steem. Since one of those incubators is currently helping me to start my brand on this platform I can safely say that I do know how awesome it is to be supported by such a project. Even more so when you know that those projects also have their physical representation in the word (the only shame is that they are severely out of my reach). Anyway if all Blockchains need something, it is a physical representation of the value they bring, which is more digestible for the people that are not committed in the virtual world, or simply do not see the value there, or they see it but can’t use it themselves. That is why I support physical projects like @thesteemhouse, or [TheSunExchange]( https://steemit.com/energy/@fingersik/the-sun-exchange-creating-solar-microgrids-in-africa through @sndbox (hope you guys are happy with my actions:D)
What do I mean by being more “digestible”? So far Blockchain is a rather ungraspable thing. People most of the times have no clue what they are about, and if they do, they only see it as some kind of “chain of blocks” without comprehension of what it actually is capable of. Physical projects are the major element that is fostering the knowledge about them. And why is that so? Well because those are the places where the Blockchain enthusiasts and workers meet, co-work and share their stories (knowledge). Whatever your idea behind “crypto possession” is, if you want the value to grow believe me. We need physical projects!

Why is @thesteemhouse worth supporting you might ask? It will serve as physical/virtual incubator. It will basically be very similar to @sndbox and I highly advise you to check that out too. Similarly to Steempark the physical place will promote Steem to masses. Not only that of course. The place will be run by full/part time workers that will be enabling the locals to connect with Steem and with guys that do understand it and that can effectively share the knowledge about it. There is no “target audience”. Whoever wants to be an author on Steem will have the door opened and free access to relevant information (be it children or elders). Thus said it will serve the very purpose of “new age libraries”. @thesteemhouse can therefore be perceived as an interactive archive of information, as well as place where gadgets of all sorts can be found and collectively used. Isn’t it awesome to have our own “Steem library of the new age”? I say it is!
Library of the new age?
What the fuck do I mean by that right? As the internet enabled the users to search for the relevant information outside of the physical domains (old-school libraries), the goal of the libraries have shifted. It has become a place of “commons”. It has become a place that has PCs and access to the internet. It has become a place where people engage in workshops, or where they simple seek professionals that would help them with the desired task. @thesteemhouse is just that! It will hold workshops, it will have PCs and other gadgets, it will have professionals working there and on top of that it still is an incubator that will help the Steemians grow.
Right now a fundraiser is taking place. @thesteemhouse needs to accumulate 2000 Steem in order to rent a place and start the physical part of the project. The contributors will receive a share of all the future generated income from the posts. That is a pretty good deal I say. For more detailed information visit their account!
Wow that idea sounds certainly nice man, but you said it will work as a virtual incubator as well?
I wonder if the members will need to attend that place, or will they members from other countries?
It is amazing that a project like that is being planned haha, those incubators are usually for places like Silicon Valley and the software they develop, now we have something similar for steem. I wish them the best!

@thesteemhouse will indeed do its part to incubate new Steemit projects. We will do this by building our steempower, and actively searching for new projects to help support!
I think that the physical space will be connected to the virtual one, but that doesnt mean that you have to be part of both.
