I Love the "Steemit" Community
Yesterday, I turned over a huge milestone in my virtual career on the STEEM blockchain. Reaching 100k STEEM was an unforgettable and exhilarating ride. But I gotta admit, the comments I received were every bit as great as getting to my personal goal. Too corny or fake? Am I just spouting bullshit? Well please, hear me out first...
Imagine buying a house. Or even passing an important exam. You get your result and feel on top of the world. You rush home in all your excitement, adrenaline pumping at the thought of sharing the news with... Hang on a second. There ain't no one at home! Nobody to ring, nobody to talk to, nobody but yourself to celebrate with. Kinda sucks, right? No, my point is you can't put a ceiling on how important the "social" aspect of any blockchain is. And we've got that covered nicely!
I've been striving to complete this goal of mine for three long years. Writing stories, blogging, reviewing, documenting. Everything that I can think of to get where I'm at right now. A culmination of many parts to achieve this small victory. So yeah, I was pretty stoked. But then when I posted about it, the fantastic comments I received added volumes of positivity to the way I felt, on top of that. I mean, it genuinely made my day so much better! That's powerful in itself. Hence I believe payouts and uplifting social interactions, are separate in that respect.
Both can bring huge quantities of happiness in similar ways. The question being whether they are independently exclusive of each other. Well, have you ever had inspired interactions of Facebook or Instagram in the past? Sure you have! And that's without a single cent being tossed anybody's way. Yeah, that powerful unique aspect intrinsic to bonding all of humanity, can get lost in the throes of the invention that is money. But yesterday, I could make a clear distinction between the two. When some people talk about all those that left or how shit or shallow this platform is, I see it pretty much the exact opposite. My experiences here seem to just get better and better, therefore willing me to "want" to stay here of my own accord. And I have no doubt, many other see t the same as I do too.
So if anything, I just wanna thank everyone who contributed in congratulating me on reaching 100k. I love this community and absolutely mean that. Strange that individuals can have such polar opposite experiences as I've read in the past and start hating it here. But not me. I've got nothing but great memories, awesome times and a bright future on the STEEM blockchain to look forward to. So bless each and every one of you for those amazing comments. Means a lot to me. The Steemit community? From my perspective, they're nothing but fantastic! Many, many thanks. Peace out, y'all...
Only a true steemian will get your point.
Glad you are a holder and you see far than most of us
Enjoy this moment.

Thanks for the nice words, bud. Bless... :)
The social aspect of steem is getting some traction, I was unsure of that during my first year, most sharing type post did not do well value wise and some were downright ridiculed, it is good to see that attitudes have changed during the last year. With the growth of the scot-tribes and other aspects of steem, social may not be such a dirty word around the steem block chain any more.
You are so right! With the dispersion of power and monopolization regarding "powerful" Steemians thanks to tribes, this whole eco-system will prosper like never before. :)
I know people are a tiny bit concerned about what will happen when SMT's make the scene, but they are geared toward a different aspect of steem block chain than the Tribe side. I see the SMT's being part of a business trying to expand or to stretch it's current social reach. The Tribes are really not selling anything. The conflict with a scot-token or an SMT is going to come about in the arena of gaming, not so much of a conflict on the social side.
Sears, Sony, McDonalds, they really don't need a social site or a social coin, but they may be able to find great use cases for SMT crypto coins to offer discounts and such to loyal shoppers. Buy a big mac get 2 MickyD coins, collect 20 MickeyD coins and get a free happy meal for your kid type thing.
I also want to congratulate you, it's really a huge achievement... What makes me even more happy is that the new horizon for Steem is really promising, and despite I did not arrive that early to this platform I already have more than a year here. Learning and suffering/enjoying all the ups and downs of this ecosystem😂😂🤣🤣
Hopefully we have learned enough to make the future Steen a more bright and exciting place to invest your time and other resources in.
Best regards.
Keeping pushing and strive harder to grow your account. The beginning will always be tough but it's the end goal that counts after all is said and done. Thank you! :)
I'll keep doing my best to keep growing my account. Let's make this place an awesome hub for communities to hang out and share what we love with the world.
Best regards.
Extraordinary achievement. this is certainly the result of endless hard work and consistency. I hope that the higher the assets, the more generous and able to become a guidance for us as followers and other steemians.
GBU
I'm hoping that's the case, my friend. :)

Congrats mate on the achievement! I agree, the Steem community is amazing, and I’ve made life long friends here, and one of those friends, @mhm-philippines was the first guest to stay over at my place when he visited Australia recently. So yeah, like you I’m grateful for this community and the 3 years I’ve been here.
