SteemIt Tools: Explore Your SteemIt Blockchain with steemd
There are quite a few new users on SteemIt. So I thought I would share one of the SteemIt tools I use, it is steemd. steemd is a STEEM blockchain explorer. It is just one of the STEEM tools you can find at STEEM Tools where there is a listing of over 120 tools created for the STEEM blockchain.

I use the steemd tool to monitor activity associated with my account on the STEEM blockchain. Here is a partial screenshot of the page I use to monitor the activity:

Voting Power
Near the bottom on the left-hand side is the VOTING POWER. You should keep an eye on your voting power. As you vote on a post or comment, your voting power decreases. Your voting power recharges over time. I try not to let my voting power go below 80%. You can learn more about voting power here.
Transparency is inherrent in the STEEM blockchain. You can monitor anyone's activities using steemd.
How Do You Monitor Account Activity
You monitor your account activity by typing steemd.com/@your_acccount_name in your browser's URL address.
For example, to monitor my account activity I entered https://steemd.com/@etcmike
To monitor your account's activity just replace etcmike with the name of your SteemIt user account.
I urge you to explore the other features in the steemd tool too and have fun blogging, curating, and commenting on SteemIt!
