Regular STEEM
If you are new to Steemit you may be wondering how can you earn some regular income and how to get those mega payouts.
I recently discovered steemdata.com, a treasure trove of Steemit data made accessible by @furion. In the coming weeks I will perform sentiment analysis to look at interesting trends, and identify people to follow and engage with on Steemit. I will also try to identify some of the more positive posters and I look at how this translates into payouts.

After downloading some data I started by looking at the trending users in the top 10 for this week.
What is striking is their payouts form a Steem like pattern. Some more pronounced then others but these are the guys I will be trying to emulate. @cryptofiend @knozaki2015 @doitvoluntarily and @mynameisbrian in particular post a lot and have almost perfect STEEM patterns, but what sets them apart is the high quality content of each post.

The regular payouts seem to be down to hard work, most of the authors who regularly get up to 50 dollars per post write amazing articles. They clearly have a talent but they also put a lot of time into their work.

Lately I learn that some of them are using SpeechToText software to actually increase speed of writing an articles.
Interesting. I havent looked at Speech to Text software in a few years. I might try it out again to see if it increases my productivity.

I will pick out a few regular posters and look at the effect of the experiment on payouts in the next few days. It will be interesting to see how the pattern changes for this experiment.
Hi @abit I kind of get what your trying to achieve with this experiment and I was wondering if there are any specific metrics you would like to look at. It may be useful to track and see how payouts are affected during the experiment using some analysis similar to what I have provided here.
We could look at the effect on regular posters who have been earning at the top of the scale, and regular posters who have been earning down the scale. How is their daily payout affected?
Is there anything specifically that you think would be useful to look at?

It truly is.
Steemit provides a revolutionary model for social media and online content. It's taking blockchain tech to the next level and providing an entry point to the digital economy for many. It's the first opportunity where I have been able to regularly earn digital currency. Just think how this opens the door for anyone to be an online publisher, writer, blogger you name it. From rich countries to poor countries. It opens up the world of possibilities. There are certainly some wrinkles to work out but I am really excited about the possibilities.
