What makes an post successful? Part Two - be part of it

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Dear Steemians,

last week, I asked myself what makes a successful post.

You probably know the following scenario. You scroll through the "new", "trending" and "hot" sections and see posts, which rock - in other words 3-digit amounts are listed below the posts. This has made me think a bit about which criteria might effect this and therefore I decided to create this analysis.

Meanwhile, we have identified the following criteria in order to have an successful steemit post:

  • Number of followers
  • Appropriate formatting
  • Content
  • Factor time

Here you can find the previous posts:

Session One
Session Dos - only in German

So far so good. Today we will expand the list with another criterion.

I proudly present - the BOT

The topic of bots enjoys special attention on the Steemit Community and is also discussed extremely controversially. On the one hand, a good content should be found anyway and not be supported by a bot, so the "widespread" assumption.

Honestly, I also stick to this approach. Content should always prevail. This combined with a consistent good content should actually be a guarantee for a successful Steem post.

At least, you think. BUT

...with the increasing number of posts it is becoming harder and harder to be found if you can not access a good followerbase. Even this is not always a guarantee.

A bot voting, which decorates your post equal with a few Steemit dollars, can be effective.

Ultimately, it should be up to you whether you use bots and boost your post. One thing is certain, a "funded" post will probably even with a bot's support hardly get in the trending section, when the content is crab. So keep in mind...

CONTENT rules. ALWAYS

In that sense, let me know how you feel about bots - look forward to your comments
