If all these Steem hits the market at once, i expected the Steem price to go down.

I still struggle to get my head around the power down concept. It that once per week @steemit releases the $400k?
First at all if some whale start to Power down, it needs a week. He can stop it when ever he want. It doesnt mean that after this Power down he will start another. Could be he stayed powered up...
from the top 200 Whales 95 are powering down at the moment. You can see this is more then 600k in the next 7 days. So 400k from todays Top Whale will have an impact IF he throw this on the market... IF....., he can transfer this as well to another Steemaccount...
If you have any Questions let me know. I see this positive at the Moment, the Steem Power gets more distributed downwards.
I have the same question, I thought the payouts were over 2 years. Does this really mean we have a whale dropping 400K on the market every week for the next two years?

I am in social networking since 2003, when my group Creative Friends was the most popular in ICQ ;-) But tell it not to boast))) I FEEL, that Steemit is BEFORE A BIG JUMP UP. Hope it will happen after meeting in Amsterdam.
Yeah i think The Steem Fest in Amsterdam is an important event. Lets hope the best, always positive :) I like to go there, but i live to far away...
