Steemit is all About Real Life Connections
Today I had the pleasure of having a phone conversation for the first time with someone on the Steem Blockchain who has been a staple in my entrepreneurial journey. @matthewdavid and I were able to connect for the first time today, and it really got me thinking more about how incredibly unique this platform is, and how we should all appreciate this moment in time where the attention of Steemit, Dtube, Steem Monsters, Etc. is still very genuine and raw.
I want to encourage everyone to reach out to that creator you've been wanting to talk to, or the person you have been routinely commenting and engaging with and say hi. A 15-30 minute conversation could totally change yall's relationship

@nathanmars thanks for sharing! I agree with every single one of your points. I like especially what you said about earning trust. I've been thinking a lot recently about how blockchain steemit etc. will disrupt a lot of different businesses, but I think one thing that I only recently have started to think seriously about is how Steem allows us to OWN the platform via steem power. That ownership model is extremely powerful and I believe will have massive impact well into the future. thanks for the comment :)

Thanks. I've learned so much from people on Steemit in the last year. I read an comment a lot, but don't do a whole lot of my own posts. I try to focus on books and that how @elima and I initially connected because I saw one of his videos about a book he had read.
Really good message and I share your experience even if I never had a real life phonecall or meetup.
This platform is so unique in many ways ( like @nathanmars wrote already) and I am absolutely happy that we are the early adaptors here and we are the ones who promote this platform around the world.

Is steemfest 3 coming soon? If so that will be a really amazing environment. I went to a steemit meetup in Philadelphia one time, and the people I met there have been some of the most pivotal relationships I have made in my life (one day soon this will become very clear why and I will make sure to tag you in that video, but if you want a hint, check out the video I posted today ;) )

You are so right. I really need to change that. But my biggest problem is that I hate phone or video calls... Lol I am kind of an antisocial person. 😪 But for sure I should start trying to meet more about the people in here. 😉 I will try from now on.
