Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Before I start mentioning the requirements of how you can enter this contest. I wanted to point out that I indeed do have my own Discord Server for any Steemians to join, especially the people that are new in this platform.

I have currently about 57 members in this group and I truly thank all you people for being a part of this community so far! :) I greatly appreciate it! But as time passes by, my goal in this Discord page is to create the most active community and one of the best Discord servers for steemians EVER and I know we are just getting started!
I do notice that inactivity of this server despite the 57 members because most of them seems to be entering this server and not do anything else afterwards or reading the rules. So from TODAY forward, we are going to change that but I will need your help to make this happen.
As a community, I will need as much help from you guys as possible to keep this community within Discord active and giving them a reason to keep coming back to check in.
So you may be asking... What is The Steemit Promo Server exactly on Discord?
Well, to put it in the simplest way possible, its a discord server that helps any steemians out there, whether you are new to the platform or been around for a while, it helps connect other steemians directly and sharing ideas. We are building to become a very friendly, outgoing community which motivates others to help others by giving valuable information that some may find it useful with their lives.
There is this saying: If you want to become successful, help others to reach success and then your success follows. or something like that. xD

Keep in mind that most people are in this for the money, and anyone's motivation is fine because everyone has their own unique ways of interacting with the world. I mean, I believe the world has the wrong motivations to do things, but everyone has the freedom to choose them (or the motivations choose them, like in this case haha)
Another thing you need to consider is that there are more promote-your-posts, receive-an-upvote, check-other's-posts servers.. So, basically, what I think you must do is think out-of-the-box. This is a little easier if you have a specific audience for your server, as in videogaming for example. It's easier to give game-related motivation to people, because you know for example, that many people would be interested in say, you made up some form of contest based on gaming or anime/comics or similar, or gave out prizes in some way with some of your cards for example. So it's a little more difficult to make up contests for a larger audience, so that they could al be interested.
That being said, it's not impossible to attract many people into staying active in the channel.
Ah I resteemed this post more people need to see this here that is great you are doing this for the steemit Discord server doing little things like this every now and then I think will help out a bunch in the long run this server.

Yup! Which is why I need many people's help to make this server more involved and raise activity. It sorta disappoints me that they come in and then never uses the server whatsoever afterwards most of the time.
