Dashpay Magazine: Even though we got hacked we still believe in Steemit

We were one of the first cryptocurrency blogs to announce our presence on Steemit weeks back, we followed on our promise and released posts after post that got many upvotes due to the quality of our content here. What happened to the platform was unfortunate and could have happened to any social media network. In the past(hell even in recent times) big social media sites have been hacked and they all bounced back strong. We will like to urge all here and the media as a whole to realize that it was the website that was hacked not the Steem blockchain.

We were locked Out of or account for a while

We were unfortunate, we may not have taken our privacy so serious that we were victims of the #hack. We were unable to access our account for days and who ever had the account made scam posts and one that mocked the platform as a whole. We believed then, now and forever

Yes we do! We believe that Steemit is a social media platform that gives voice to the voiceless, provides a fair playing ground for all from anywhere, a place which is not controlled by the powers that be but a place which stands for true decentralization. We all get to do what we love here and we are shown love by others through the reward scheme. It's a hell of a place here. During the storm when we did not know what would become of our account and our precious #steem, we were relaxed and had trust in the Dev team to restore calm. We did not take to our blog to lash out on how the platform had failed like others did, even though we were unable to be on this platform at that time, we stood in solidarity with all community members in our heat.

No matter how hard times have been in the recent past, scenarios like this only make as strong. From Accra, Ghana to every corner in the world we may be the steem in our hearts live on. We believed then, now and we will forever. We hope for better times ahead, we finally back with our posts again.
