I don't believe that it will change the internet, but I do think that it can change social media; websites like facebook and google plus.

And if I may be so frank, I believe that the majority of people here are here only to make money. Because the layout, and UX of steemit.com sucks. Other social networking sites are far easier to use, they look way better, and of course have much richer content. Steemit is still years away in that department.

The other sites also don't make you feel like you need to write a long-winded page that nobody cares to read. They also don't make you feel that your content needs to be original, but I suppose that comes with the territory of getting paid for the things you post.

I think what steemit should do is have a popup come up right after you click "Post" which asks you if your content is original, or borrowed from another source. If you click original then they agree to pay you, but if its original it lets you know that you won't be paid for sharing content that is already licensed.
